The next meeting of the Guyandotte Chapter will be held Tuesday, September 9, at 5:00 p.m. on the Logan Campus of Southern.  All members are encouraged to attend.

In 1952 "National Secretaries Week" was organized by the National Secretaries Association (now known as the International Association of Administrative Professionals) as an effort to recognize secretaries for their contributions in the workplace, and to attract people to secretarial/administrative careers. In 2000, the event names were changed to Administrative Professionals Week and Administrative Professionals Day to keep pace with the changing job titles and expanding responsibilities of today’s administrative workforce.  The Guyandotte Chapter hosts an annual seminar during Administrative Professionals Week.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, the Guyandotte Chapter was not able to sponsor a seminar in April 2008.  The Chapter will make every effort to reinstate this event during IAAP week in 2009.  Event details will be posted on this site as they become available.
